London, October 2025 – As part of its Frieze Week programme, Moco Museum London presents The Onyx BE@RBRICK, a first-of-its-kind 70cm stone sculpture that transforms one of the most recognisable icons of collectible culture into a timeless object of art. The work will be on public view at Moco London from 18 October 2025.
The Onyx BE@RBRICK is an official collaboration between MEDICOM TOY, Ms. Fox, Mr. B, and marble atelier Marmor Möller. Developed under MEDICOM TOY’s original BE@RBRICK design, this is the first time the iconic figure has been realised as a 70 cm stone sculpture. Molded and manufactured from a single block of onyx, the work preserves the exact proportions and articulation of the 1000% BE@RBRICK. Every joint is fully movable, achieved through a newly engineered fixture system that ensures balance, precision and longevity. The result is a high-impact encounter between collectible culture, design innovation and timeless material.
The onyx was hand-selected by Ms. Fox and Mr. B, both patrons of modern and contemporary art. Fabrication and engineering were executed by Marmor Möller’s specialist team in Germany. The natural veining of the stone ensures that no two sculptures are alike. Each artwork is a standalone original, revealing both the texture of the earth and the smoothness of meticulous manufacture.
“BE@RBRICK is one of the most recognisable forms in global design. Presenting it in onyx gives it a new place in art and culture,” say Kim and Lionel Logchies, Founders of Moco Museum. “This artwork challenges the line between collectible, design object and sculpture. That is the kind of boundary-pushing we stand for.”
